Do you consistently wake up feeling tired, exhausted and an inability to think (brain fog)? Simple tips to feel more energized and ready to take on the day!
Poor sleep will affect your ability to feel rested and energized for the day ahead. But there are a few others areas to explore that may be causing you to feel any of these symptoms:
- brain fog
- trouble concentrating
- hunger cravings
One primary factor that may be causing you to feel this way is your diet, as well as timing. The foods you eat the day before, matter. And so does the time at which you ate your last meal. As a simple tip, try these 3 alternatives and see how you feel the next day:
1) Avoid or minimize ultra-processed foods, hydrogenated oils, and gluten
2) Eat your last meal around 5-530
3) Fast for 12-14 hours between dinner and breakfast the next day
This approach will help with:
- minimizing inflammation
- providing optimal time for digestion before bed
- sleep focused on recovery (not digestion)
- clear out toxin build-up
- improve digestion and insulin regulation
A few bonus tips: 1) consume all optimal water intake 3 hours before bed and 2) High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT).
